All forward motion counts. Nomadism is a way of salvation, an attempt at self preservation, to gain more in a new place. This book is a manifestation of how I find myself constantly moving, both physically changing locations and emotionally. An expression of journey in a series of images in mixed media: film, collage, and computer application.

An advertising campaign for Alzheimer's Association that brings awareness to the growing number of Americans diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Twelfth Night Poster
The computer should be utilized as a tool, but not take over our design methods. An attempt to create this project mostly by hand I used spray paint and two stencils. One stencil was used to portray the woman figure and another separate stencil for the mustache as a satirical way of poking fun at the mixed gender roles portrayed in Shakspeare’s play.
She Gets it From Her Mama Cookbook
A collection of recipes inspired by my love of learning to cook and passing in on to others. A retro style influenced by vintage recipe and cookbooks. I used red, yellow, and blue with monotone accents in the patterns and natural paper colors that we¬re recycled. I liked the brown paper used for the cover because it reminded me of meat packing paper and brought together the idea of the old style kitchen.
Treasue Island Poster
A 16 x 20in Poster submitted to the Treasure Island Music Festival Poster contest.
This particular poster was created for a design competition for the 2011 Bandwagon Poster and Record Sale. It was inspired by Art Nouveau and Victorian patterns and typography. I wanted to create a fun way to appreciate more traditional ways of printmaking such as relief, but also show the same appreciation for vinyl. That is where the "Keepin' it Old School" tag line and the old penny farthing bicycle suggest records.
Fulda Beer Packaging
A monastery brewed beer based out of a town near where my mother is from in Germany called Fulda. Focusing on the idea of superstitions and reusable wooden beer carriers with swing top bottles that could be reused and/ or re-purposed. The shape of the labels was found in the arches of the monastery and the hand illustrations, were inspired by illuminated manuscripts. This logo is based on the 5 principles of unity of church using the five letters of the name of the town with dots representing those points.

Using images found in a 1958 Natural Science books found in a thrift store downtown Savannah. I wanted to portray the progression of music in it's physical form of vinyl without being a literal. In the end it resulted in a spontaneous collage style, which looks like a Dada style modern vector.
18in x 24 in copper etching.
